Kirk Nagel is not just a builder and craftsman, he is an engineer and a designer. He knows the options for
maximizing durability, beauty, and quality, and for minimizing costs. When I needed to replace a deteriorated
deck and stairway, broken tile work, and a crumbling retaining wall, he presented me with all the options and
worked with me to suggest the most effective solutions within my budget. I thank him for keeping me from hiding
my head in the sand and avoiding problems that needed to be solved. The results were a delight: a new,
expanded deck of durable composite built over a ample and cleverly engineered support structure of treated
lumber, designed creatively to fit the available space. He reused what of the previous structure was reusable,
and used new materials efficiently. His professionalism is impressive. Kirk is a pleasure to work with, and his
work is even more of a pleasure to use!
